Diy | Dollar Store Holiday Deco

You don't have to spend an arm and a leg on Holiday decorations.  Save that extra money for the presents.  I know the Dollar Store is probably not the first place you think of on where to buy non-tacky Christmas decorations.  Don't get me wrong they have some hideous stuff you can decorate with, but if you use your imagination you can actually find some decent stuff for crafting.
I made the above decoration using a beer bottle, white spray paint and some dollar store finds. The fun part about this DIY is you get to drink the beer first, although I wouldn't recommend drinking a 6-pack and then doing DIY crafts... on second thought.  You can also use a regular white vase instead of a beer bottle.
The pre-sprayed silver sparkly branches, leaves and pine cones came from Dollarama, and cost me around 3 bucks.  They also had sparkly gold, red and green options and a variety of synthetic holiday flowers to choose from.  I think this DIY would make a great inexpensive center piece for a dinner table.
Another idea is to frame the branches and make a sparkly art piece.  In total is cost me $2.50 and literally took under five minutes to make.  I trimmed down the branch and popped it in the frame with white paper behind it.  I love how it turned out.
I'll probably be doing some more of these Dollar DIY's in the near future.  Comment below and let me know what you think!
